Water is essential

This fact is based solely on the fact that the human body consists of 70% water. Water regulates our body temperature, ensures good blood circulation and is also responsible for the expansion of toxins and the transport of nutrients. It is therefore crucial where the water that we supply to our body comes from.

You can’t find what you don’t look for

In the media, our tap water is repeatedly portrayed as the best controlled food. The fact is, however, that only certain pollutants are searched for. In our tap water, we ingest – even if only in small quantities – remnants of medicines, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, fungi, chlorine and pesticides, among other things. Researchers still disagree about the resulting long-term effects.

So tap water does not have the quality that the media often convey to us. In addition, the permissible limit values for exposure have been drastically increased in recent years. Consistent quality is suggested to the consumer, although only the standard is adjusted.

Filtered water has a high cell availability

Microsiemens (µS) is the value with which the amount of dissolved particles in water can be measured. So that water can be optimally absorbed by the cells of our body, the value should be lower than 130 µS. If the value is higher, water increasingly loses its ability to get into the cells via osmosis and to clean them.

At this point, too, it is worrying that the limit values have been adjusted upwards immensely in the last few decades. While the limit value in 1980 was 80 µS, today our drinking water can have values of up to 2500 µS.

Filtered water does not contain any minerals

Water does not have the task of supplying the body with minerals. Our diet is responsible for that. It is therefore nonsensical to evaluate mineral water qualitatively on the basis of the mineral content. Usually the varieties are only rich in one mineral, which is then particularly emphasized. Nevertheless, many water suppliers advertise the high mineral content and try to influence the buying behavior of potential customers. To cover the daily requirement of magnesium, either 60g pumpkin seeds or 50l Volvic are enough…

The consequences

As already mentioned at the beginning, water fulfills essential functions for the human organism. Poor quality means that water cannot perform its tasks optimally. The consequences are the build-up of toxins in connective tissue, joints, veins and the brain. This can result in diseases such as cellulite, arthritis, high blood pressure and dementias.

The advantages of a high quality water filter:

– 130 µS or less
– PH value
– 100% no plastic

Filtering: plasticizers, uranium, drug residues, pesticides, lime, chlorine, lead, flame retardants, bacteria, viruses, hormone-active substances, X-ray contrast media, microplastics, industrial chemicals, anti-baby pills…

Conclusion

Now that you know the benefits of drinking filtered water, it’s time to find the right filtration system. The best way to make sure your water is safe and healthy is to choose a home filtration system that fits your needs and budget, and get started!
